The following poems
were written by Andrew. As a parent struggling to teach and help a child learn with the challenges of focus, I did my best
to emphasize not only his areas of strength but skills that would benefit him
the most in achieving his goals in a practical world. I challenged
him outside of school to write and improve his math skills. The
objective being that if he excelled in these two skills he could write winning
proposals and manage his money. Andrew worked with a tutor on his
writing skills as well as math. These poems were in his tutoring
file.
