I do not have a sports injury and I am not an athlete, can I still be treated at the Andrew Institute?
Yes absolutely. The Andrews Institute is open to everyone and has a number of specialists to treat injuries and conditions of bones, muscles, tendons, nerves and ligaments.
I do not have a physician, can I still set up an appointment with a doctor at the Institute?
Yes, our team of physicians at the Andrews Institute will be pleased to make an appointment with you. Please call us at 850.916.8700, option 1, and our access team will recommend the best specialist for your particular injury or condition.
Do I need a physician referral to use the services?
A referral may not be required. Depending on your insurance coverage, you may need a referral from your primary care physician. Our physicians accept commercial insurance and self-pay arrangements. Diagnostic and rehabilitation services may be accessed via direct referral from your primary care physician or one of our specialists.
What types of insurance do you accept?
We accept a variety of insurance plans. However, we recommend you call the number on the back of your insurance card to find out if our physicians are in network with your particular plan.
Do your doctors treat patients only at the Andrews Institute in Gulf Breeze, Fla.?
Our main location is in Gulf Breeze, Fla. However, some of our specialists also treat patients at Baptist Medical Towers and Baptist Medical Park-Nine Mile in Pensacola, and at Baptist Medical Park-Navarre.
Can I do my physical therapy/rehabilitation at the Andrews Institute?
Andrews Institute Rehabilitation provides the most comprehensive range of physical therapy/rehabilitation services available in the region, with several convenient locations across northwest Florida. Our main Andrews Institute Rehabilitation location in Gulf Breeze, Fla., features 12,000 square feet of space dedicated to outpatient rehabilitation.
For out-of-town patients, we can work with physical therapists near your hometown to ensure our preferred protocols are implemented for your specific condition.

Can I have surgery at the Andrews Institute?
Yes. Outpatient surgeries are performed at the Andrews Institute Ambulatory Surgery Center by our affiliated team of physicians. However, if your particular surgery requires an overnight stay, our physicians will perform in-patient surgeries at Gulf Breeze Hospital in Gulf Breeze and at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola.
