Testimonials from the Total Joint Center

Hip Replacement:

I cannot think of anything at all that he could have done better. You judge the success of an operation based on function and pain. I had a lot of pain before the surgery and I have no pain now. I go shopping, I travel and I am grateful to say that I’m an active 80-year-old woman. In my mind, I’m 35!

Knee Replacement:

photo: female patient As long as I can remember I’ve been very active. I enjoy walking, sailing, playing tennis and spending time with my grandchildren. Last year, I struggled to do these activities but wasn’t willing to sacrifice my active lifestyle. I wanted to learn more so I contacted the Andrews Total Joint Center. I met with my orthopaedic surgeon, who was friendly, compassionate and genuinely interested in my comfort and quality of life.

After a thorough examination, we developed a custom plan, just for me. I felt assured and relaxed as I knew what to expect before and after my knee surgery. I’m so glad I chose Andrews Total Joint Center. Today, I am enjoying activities with my family and friends, and enjoying life to the fullest.

Hip Replacement:

I was born with my right femoral head smaller than my left femoral head, which caused major problems later in life. I couldn’t walk along the beach without experiencing extreme pain. I was in that extreme pain for about two years and I found myself living on anti-inflammatories. I was probably taking about 16 a day for several years. My biggest regret was not coming to the Andrews Intitute Total Joint Center earlier to have hip replacement surgery. Following my surgery, I was pain free and back to work faster than I ever would have imagined.
