Legends Café a Treat for the Palate, Easy on the Wallet
Who ever heard of dining out at the local hospital? The popular Breezeway Café at Gulf Breeze Hospital regularly serves a diverse menu that’s pleasing to the palate and easy on the wallet. Now diners can enjoy a similar experience at the Legends Café next door at the Andrews Institute.
The variety, flavor and presentation of the cuisine keeps customers coming back for more just as if it were a free–standing restaurant.
The menu was carefully considered to provide meals that are healthy and extremely appetizing as well as modestly priced. I am very impressed with the food choices and our team’s preparations to ensure great service and quality.Scott Raynes, administrator
Many of the menu items have an international flair but traditional choices are available as well — Mediterranean plate; Thai Peanut Chicken Salad; Cuban Mojo Pork Panini; Philly Cheese Steak; Grilled Fish Tacos; and much more. The median price for an entrée is around $6.
We serve about 2,500 meals each month. The Legends Café combines Sodexo’s food services expertise and Gulf Breeze Hospital’s and Andrews Institute’s world–class service excellence.Mike Viola, director support services, Baptist Health Care’s Gulf Breeze campus
Employees selected the name for the eatery. The term “Legends” pays homage to the talented athletes who visit the sports medicine facility for treatment and training and to the physicians and staff who care for them. The Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine provides world–class care and service for the athlete in everyone. The one–of–a–kind center focuses on the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries.
The Legends Café is open to the public for dine–in and take–out, Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
In addition to a full menu, grab–and–go meals are available including Starbucks coffee. Both the Breezeway and the Legends cafés are owned by Gulf Breeze Hospital and operated by Sodexo.
The café is located on the second floor of the Andrews Athletic Performance & Research Pavilion, 1020 Gulf Breeze Parkway.
