Hand
You may need to seek medical treatment from a hand specialist if you are experiencing the following symptoms:
- Increased pain in the hand and arm
- When carrying, gripping, grasping or twisting options you experience finger joint pain
- Changes in your joints and surrounding areas or experiencing pain in the joint, neighboring finger joints or you become less mobile then normal
- Tingling, throbbing, or hand numbness while you sleep or rest
- May feel warm or appear to be red in color on your hand, palm or fingers
- Develop cysts on the end of joints and fingers -- this can be caused by arthritis
- Swelling and discomfort in and around the joint
Wrist
You may need to seek medical treatment from a wrist specialist if you are experiencing the following symptoms:
- • Significant bruising or swelling in the wrist and around the joint, or over the forearm
- • Struggle to open, carry or twist objects
- Changes in your joints and surrounding areas or experiencing pain in the joint, neighboring finger joints or you become less mobile then normal
- Tingling, throbbing, or hand numbness while you sleep or rest
- May feel warm or appear to be red in color on your hand, palm or fingers
- Develop cysts on the end of joints and fingers -- this can be caused by arthritis
- Swelling and discomfort in and around the joint
